Objectives
This programme supports the needs of professionals in Information Technology; specifically in the areas of system development and multimedia. It is also designed to cater to the needs and interests of students who are not well exposed and trained in information Technology, particularly at the first-degree level. (This master’s degree is designed for non-IT graduates).

The objectives of the programme are to:

  • Provide opportunities for individuals to be exposed and trained in the latest in IT; especially in Multimedia & Internet Technology
  • Provide a supply of technically skilled and competent graduates in IT - especially in Multimedia & Internet Technology
  • Support the requirements of skilled workers in IT especially in Multimedia Technology

Entry Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (honours) or equivalent from a recognised institution of higher learning and a pass in the aptitude test conducted
by UNITAR.

International students must possess a minimum English Language proficiency before being allowed to register for Faculty courses:
TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS band of 6 (The validity period for TOEFL and IELTS is two years from the date awarded).
