Institution Profile

KYM International was established by the Melaka State Government with the assistance from Yaspem Sdn Bhd, a small company with Yayasan Melaka in 1996. On 23 March 1997, this organisation was officiated by Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak, the former Minister of Education. The organisation has been in the educational industry for 13 years and the college offers 23 courses, with 111 lecturers who hold bachelor, master and doctoral degrees in various fields.

All programmes that are offered at KYM International have received recognition from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

These courses are also recognised by both local and foreign universities such as Edith Cowan University, University of Huddersfield, Bangor University, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Universiti Tun Abdul Razak. In addition, we have also gained recognition from professional bodies such as The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), UK. With this recognition, we hope that all students can continue their studies and obtain additional value to the qualifications received.

Strategic plans have been drawn to increase the number of courses, as well as to form other subsidiaries to further strengthen and expand the present courses available.
