It is a premier college of higher learning recognised locally and internationally and has registered a growth that is dynamic, meteoric and has made an indelible mark in its achievements ever since its inception. Its rapid expansion to
fulfill market demands has made the college not only a very viable business entity but also a

KPJ University College is not only the first private nursing college to initiate the Diploma in Nursing Programme but also the first to have the Diploma in Nursing Programme accredited by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). This sets the college apart from the rest and gives it a unique competitive edge.
Since its establishment, KPJ University College
has maintained its tradition of academic excellence with 100% success rate in the Nursing Board Terminal Examination. KPJ College now offers 11 programmes which include Bachelor of Science (Hons) International Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, Diploma in Medical Imaging, Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Physiotherapy, Diploma of Higher Education in Operating Department Practice, Certificate in Renal Nursing, Certificate in Paediatric Nursing, Professional Certificate in Education and Teaching for Nursing Professional, Certificate in Operating Department Practice Course and Certificate in Health Information Management.
The roles and objectives of KPJ University College have become more significant in line with the growth of the industry, responding promptly to the human capital requirement for nurses and allied healthcare professionals to meet the needs of network of hospitals and other private and public healthcare institutions in the country. To date, KPJ University College has produced approximately 2,801 nurses and 1,873 healthcare professionals with degree, diploma and postgraduate specialisation qualification. The current student population of KPJ University College stands at 2,500.
This tradition of academic excellence is enhanced and galvanised by a team of dedicated, well qualified and widely experienced lecturers who inspire students to unleash their potential and develop holistically.
KPJ University College has built strong international alliance with foreign universities primarily from Australia and the United Kingdom. This successful cooperation has provided KPJ University College with an enriched combination of resources – advanced, unique and professional support of quality and diversity. As early as 1994, KPJ University College has forged a sound
working relationship with University of South Australia (UniSA) to undertake several nurse education programmes. KPJ University College
and UniSA have collaboratively trained 252 critical care nurses, 141 graduates in Teaching and Education for senior nursing officers, nurse lecturers and nurse instructors, 160 heads of services and executives in Healthcare
Management and Leadership.
Through KPJ University College's continuing ties with Liverpool John Moores University, UK for the Operating Theatre Practice Programme since 1997, 181 Trained Theater Practitioners have been produced. The College has also collaborated with Hertfordshire, UK for BSc. (Hons) International Nursing programme.
