Upin & Ipin Enrol into University - Animation voice over actress registered as a new student in MMU

Cyberjaya, 9 July 2018 – “Betul, betul, betul…,” that’s the popular phrase from Upin Ipin, a famous Malaysian animation voiced over by Asyiela Putri Azhar, who registered herself as new students of MMU at Dewan Tun Canselor recently.

She was one of the 1,800 new students enrolled in three different campuses: Cyberjaya, Melaka and Johor for July Intake 2018. Asyiela Putri, 18, said, she had mixed feeling of nervousness and anxious to enrol in Foundation of Creative Multimedia. “It is a new chapter of my life and I need to manage my time wisely for my education and Upin Ipin voice over activities,” she commented.

Asyiela Putri, who is aspired to be a future advertising entrepreneur, also mentioned that she did the voice over activities during weekends so that it would not distract on her education. “When I was in my school days, I managed to organise and prioritise things that need to be done,” she, who has been doing the voice over for Upin Ipin since she was 10 years old, explained further.

Some students and parents are completing the registration process for July Intake 2018 at MMU, Cyberjaya recently.

Meanwhile, there were few young personalities that also registered as new students in MMU. They were Selangor Football Club goalkeeper, Adam Muqrish Azlisham, 18, and two players from Malaysia’s Women Football Team, Nurul Azurin Mazlan, 18 and Jessica Susanne, 18.

Adam Muqrish stated that, “The most important thing for athletes is to balance and arrange their schedule properl, so that they would not neglect their study.” He is the new student of Faculty of Creative Multimedia is also the first son of former national goalkeeper, Azlisham Ibrahim. For Nurul Azurin and Jessica, they are very interested in Information Technology (IT) and they decided to enrol into this institution because they believe that MMU is one of the best higher education providers for this field.

Yeo Wee Sern, 18, from Segamat, Johor who also enrolled in IT programme also shared her opinion on this matter. She mentioned that she will utilise this golden opportunity to repay her parents’ sacrifices as well as for the benefits of her future.
