About the scholarship
The ASEAN Secondary 3 Scholarships is tenable for 4 years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) (or equivalent) certificate.
The Scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary 3 to Pre-University 2 and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.
If you wish to enter Singapore schools at the Secondary 3 Level for academic year of 2019, you are welcome to apply.
Criteria
If you meet the following criteria, you are invited to apply for the scholarship:
- Nationals of Malaysia
- Born between 2002–2004
- Currently in Form 2 or Form 3
- Have done consistently well in their school examinations
- Proficient in English and a good record of participation in co-curricular activities
Test and interview
The tentative dates of tests, interviews and key activities (which are subject to changes) are:

You will be notified at least 1 week in advance if you are short-listed for the selection test / interview. We regret that only short-listed candidates will be notified.

Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Penang may be used as Test / Interview Centre if there are sufficient short-listed candidates.

The application period for Academic Year 2019 ASEAN Scholarships for Malaysia is from 14 March 2018 (6.00 a.m.) to 11 May 2018 (10.00 p.m.)
Please note that the system cannot be accessed on 1 April 2018 (Sunday) from 12a.m. to 8a.m. (0000hrs - 0800hrs).
