Invitation for applications for financial assistance from the Indian Scholarship & Trust Fund (ISTF) – 2019 / 2020
The High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur is inviting applications from Malaysian students of Indian origin pursuing full-time courses in Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and other Institutions in Malaysia for one-time financial assistance from the ‘Indian Scholarship & Trust Fund (ISTF)’.
Who are eligible:
- Students pursuing full-time Diploma and Bachelor courses in Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and Institutions in Malaysia may apply for the scholarship.
- Only one student from a family may apply for financial assistance from the ISTF in 2019 / 2020.
- Age Limit: 25 years;
- Parent’s total income (total basic salary) shouldn’t exceed RM2,000 per month.
- Students currently pursuing their A-Levels, Foundation courses, International Baccalaureate (IB), Australian Matriculation, Canadian Pre-U (CPU), etc., are NOT eligible to apply. Only students doing Diploma and Graduate courses are eligible to apply for the ISTF.

Applications received after 4/10/2019 will not be considered for evaluation.
Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and those found suitable would be awarded financial assistance from the ISTF.
