The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) offers two International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Scholarships for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) leavers. Scholarships are inclusive of full tuition and external examination fees.*
With a 29-year IB pass rate of 97%, the benefit of world-class IB educators and access to global university scholarship programs, ISKL offers an international education that opens doors. If you are a Malaysian SPM Leaver who wants to experience an exceptional IB Diploma education at one of Malaysia’s leading international schools then now is the time to apply! ISKL’s two-year IB Diploma scholarship program is open to all current year (2021) Form 5 students.
Step 1 - Complete the online inquiry via ISKL’s Admission Open Apply system and submit a Letter of Interest to [email protected] by February 28, 2022.
Step 2 - Successful candidates will receive an invitation to complete the full application. The deadline to submit all applications is April 1, 2022.
Step 3 - Selection exams for shortlisted candidates will be held on April 4, 2022
Step 4 - Panel Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held on April 25, 2022
Step 5 - Notification to successful & unsuccessful candidates will be issued by end of April 2022.

*The scholarship candidates will begin school in August 2022 continuing through to June 2024. The scholarship is equivalent to a two-year study of the International Baccalaureate Diploma program at the International School of Kuala Lumpur.

Application Requirements
All submissions need to be made online through ISKL’s Admissions Open Apply system. Excellent academic records: Submit application with SPM trial exam results including past three years official academic records (translated into English)
- Personal statement from the applicant
- SPM examination results released in 2022 (presented at the panel interview or prior)
- Teacher recommendations
- Extracurricular involvement
- Previous commitment to community service
- Completed ISKL Application for Admissions online form
- Upload a photocopy of the applicant’s Malaysian identity card
- Upload a recent passport-size color photo of the applicant
- Successful candidates: Student Health Form, parts of which are to be completed by a doctor
