Course Description

In the corporate world and beyond, everything has to be accounted for in an accurate and timely fashion. The Diploma in Accountancy programme provides students with knowledge to familiarise themselves with various aspects such as taxation and commercial law. For students who are a whiz at crunching numbers and balancing accounts, this is the place to be.

Upon completion of this programme, students have a choice of pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or even a professional accounting qualification. For students who plan on earning an ACCA qualification, they will be granted an exemption of four papers with this Diploma.

 ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT
  • SPM / O Levels :
Min. 3 credits (inclusive of a Credit in Mathematics and a Pass in English)
  • UEC :
Min. 3 credits (inclusive of a Credit in Mathematics and a Pass in English)
Any other qualifications deemed equivalent by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia (or as stated in the Document Senarai Nilai Taraf Kelayakan Akademik, Malaysian Qualifications Agency) Pass (Subject to review and approval of certified transcripts)
ENGLISH REQUIREMENT
Local Student : Pass (SPM / 1119 / UEC / O Levels examination)
International Student : Band 5.5 in IELTS; or a score of 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL
