Ph.D. in Biotechnology

Course Overview

The objective of the postgraduate programme is to provide graduate students with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge through independent research in a selected branch of Biotechnology. This will enable graduates to be competent in handling basic and applied research in their chosen specialties.

Research and Thesis - Both programmes are research - based and are conducted by Department of Biotechnology (Faculty of Applied Science)

Thesis Preparation

At the end of the course, students are required to prepare a thesis of their research work.

The thesis will be evaluated by a panel of examiners and a vice-voce will be conducted.

Entry Requirements

1. Masters degree in related field or other equivalent qualifications accepted by AIMST Senate

International students need to have a TOEFL Min Score 550 or IELTS Min Score 6.0.
