The Department offers a 4-year undergraduate course leading to Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Chemistry. Students will take chemistry core courses in the first three years of the programme and choose one concentration package from various fields offered. Students are also required to conduct a research project in the final year of the programme.

1. A pass at the GCE level with credits in
   • Mathematics
   • Chemistry
   • Biology
   • Physics

   Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the government of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the University.

2. Pass in the English Placement Test (EPT) conducted by IIUM or has evidence of IELTS or TOEFL qualification:

3. Other admission requirement:
