Course Description

Quest International University’s Master of Business Administration postgraduate programme is designed to produce qualified professionals equipped with the full range of skills needed to lead successful businesses in a global environment characterised by constant change. The increasing demand for quality, affordable programmes in business both locally and elsewhere in the region suffices the need to offer the programme. Furthermore, in the context of rapid socio-economic development that is taking place in the country, the local graduates of this programme will be well-trained as professionals to suffice the urgent need for such professionals in the public and private sectors. Our programme is designed to train and provide a variety of skills to students, including research, analytical and critical thinking skills so as to produce reflective and competent graduates who not only will fulfil current market manpower needs, both locally and globally, but also are well equipped to meet future professional challenges be they placed in rural or urban settings. Our MBA programme equips students with understanding the context of managing business organizations. They will be exposed to and be aware of the roles and contributions of other departments or functional units, activities that have to be performed and relationships with internal and external parties in the course of carrying out their own specific tasks. Moreover, they too will be able to apply the knowledge they gained from taking the courses in the programme in carrying out their managerial roles and responsibilities. This includes the identification, evaluation and analysis of relevant data, related and relevant to the making of organizational and business decisions.

Our MBA programme grooms the students to become managers who are sensitive to their operating environment and to the factors that can enhance the effectiveness of their work. They will be heightened in their critical thinking, measured in their approach, sensitive to their surrounding and matured in their handling of issues affecting their organizations. Thus being creative, resourceful, able to work in teams and with leadership qualities. The students will be able to communicate effectively and prepare reports that meet user requirements. Graduate from this programme will have the attributes to act responsible, ethical and committed to the promotion of good behaviour and deeds that meet professional standard and organizational and societal expectations.

Graduates would find employment as Managers, Executive and Officers in a variety of areas such as Business, Finance, Market Research, Sales and Human Resource Management.
