Course Description

Quest International University Perak’s Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Hospitality & Tourism Management (BBA (Hons) Hospitality & Tourism Management) is designed to prepare students for management related work in the hospitality and tourism sectors.  Our programme gives a broad coverage of the best practices in these fields. The   coursework   is reinforced with critical soft skills that are an integral part of the profession.  Core components of the three-year undergraduate programme contain high level industry input that provides our students with real-life situations to learn from.

We also include industrial training as part of the curriculum. The research components in the courses paves the way to develop an analytical mind-set which is crucial in making key decisions that drive success.  This programme is designed to equip students with specialised skill sets for immediate employment in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Students’ ability is gauged both through continuous assessments and a final year exam. The continuous assessment component comprises tests/quizzes, mid-term examination and projects/assignments which accounts for an allocation of about 40-50 marks depending on the course. The balance of the marks is allocated for the final examination.
