Course Overview

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) institute, formed in 1904, is the global professional accounting body offering the “Chartered Certified Accountant” qualification. Based in the United Kingdom, ACCA is a fast-growing international accountancy organisation with over 200,000 members and 500,000 students in 180 countries.

Students pursuing ACCA can:

  • Earn a Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business and go on to earn an ACCA Member status

Entry Requirements

MUET

Malaysia University English Test(MUET) Band 2;

 

AND

STPM
  1. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (SPTM) with a minimum grade C+ (GP2.33) in any two subjects, and credits in three subjects including Mathematics and English at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or
A-Level
  1. A pass in A-Level with a minimum of full passes in two subjects, and credits in three subjects including credit in Mathematics and pass in English at SPM level/ GCE O-Level, or
UEC
  1. A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum grade B in five subjects including Mathematics and English; or
Diploma
  1. A Diploma in Accounting (level 4 MQF) or related field, or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, or
Matriculation/Foundation
  1. Matriculation/ Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credits in mathematics at SPM level, or
CAT/Foundation in Accountancy
  1. A pass in Certified Accounting Technicians (CAT) / ACCA Foundation in Accountancy,
Other Qualification
  1. Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government and subject to ACCA approval.

Note: Mathematics credit requirements at the SPM level for candidates (I) and (v) can be exempt if the qualification includes mathematics subjects and his achievement is equal to/more than the credit requirement of such subject on the SPM level.
