About Us

Formerly known as HELP College of Arts and Technology (HELP CAT), Imperium International College successfully completed the takeover of HELP CAT and resumed operations in March 2020. This was also to ensure that as the new official entity, IIC achieves one of its key strategic objectives to provide the best quality education and skill for a wide range of students.

Imperium International College’s strategic location at Fraser Business Park, Sungai Besi enables students to enjoy the benefits of living and learning in metropolitan of Kuala Lumpur with access to top academic and professional expertise as well as excellent facilities with a link bridge to the city’s Light Rail Transit (LRT) network that connects the college (Chan Sow Lin LRT station) to the greater KL.

A purpose-designed campus, Imperium International College offers a wide range of innovative academic, professional, and vocational programs as shown below.

Imperium International College is owned by MAA Group as the company puts focus on expanding its education business. MAA Group also owns St John’s International School and Pusat Tuisyen Kasturi under its subsidiary, Edumaax Sdn Bhd.

In tune with the objective of Malaysia to be a regional centre of educational excellence, Imperium International College has formed partnerships with a range of good overseas universities to conduct ‘3+0’ programmes, examples being the Anglia Ruskin University. With this partnership, Imperium International College now offers undergraduate programmes such as Marketing, Business Management, Accounting & Finance, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.

There are also vocational and professional programmes such as the Diploma in Culinary Arts and accounting programmes like the ACCA Foundation in Accounting (FIA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of ACCA, UK. The range of programmes offered, including the Foundation Studies in Arts and Science, will provide students with relevant pathways to undergraduate studies and professional qualifications that are connected to high-growth sectors with a strong demand for the employment of such graduates.

The Student Experience

Imperium International College strongly encourages students to participate in student activities, creating an atmosphere that is supportive, and welcoming to all. Besides learning from our talented scholars and academicians, students are encouraged to learn from the variety of perspectives in our diverse campus community.

The Student Affairs Division, various clubs and societies have organised spectacular and exciting activities in the past year such as the Fete De La Musique event, ARU Cambridge Trip, Colombian Cultural Day, Imperium Cultural night, and many others. Students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities available for them, such as sports, social causes and cultural activities conducted by the many clubs and societies in Imperium International College.

Imperium International College places great emphasis on developing student skills (theoretical and practical) that are based on industrial real-world practices. These practices are implemented through a variety of assessment and exercises in the programme. Students are also groomed through various workshops, consultations and mentoring programmes conducted by our experienced lecturers aimed to train students to make decisions and perform duties with positive work ethics such as integrity, responsibility, high quality, discipline, humility, and teamwork.
