NCC Education is a global provider of British
education and a recognised UK awarding body.
The name hints at our prestigious origins as the
educational arm of the National Computing Centre
(NCC), a groundbreaking research organisation
founded in 1966 by the British government. NCC
Education gained a worldwide reputation for
educational excellence, after becoming one of the
first bodies to award IT qualifications. With calls
for greater diversification, NCC Education became
independent from NCC in 1997.

internationally-recognised business, IT and
foundation level programmes to a global network of
Accredited Partner Centres. With over 200 centres in
over 45 countries, NCC Education is a well established

NCC Education offers UK-standard undergraduate and postgraduate British degree programmes and pathways taught via our Accredited Partner Centres. Computer Pioneers was introduced in 2001 offering children between the ages of 4 and 16 the opportunity to develop their computing skills and to become confident in the use of ICT.

NCC Education has a dedicated team of experienced student support staff to give advice and assistance to students throughout their studies. Student support is of the utmost importance to us and, alongside our Accredited Partner Centres, students are provided with valuable assistance and information in areas such as; registration, fees, examinations, awards and exemptions.
All registered students have access to our free online portal – Campus. Here students can find all the information needed to support their studies, including past papers, study guides and revision tips. We have an online student magazine, and a Facebook page which offers insights into students' journeys through education, and the successes they are now experiencing since taking our qualifications.
Computer Pioneers
Computer Pioneers is a group of ICT courses for
students aged 4-16 which enable learners to use and
apply computing skills and to become confident in
the use of IT from a very early age.
Foundation Level Programmes
NCC Education International Foundation Year (IFY)
A one-year programme for speakers of English as
a foreign language who are seeking entrance to a
university bachelor's programme or the NCC
Education L4DB, L4DBIT or L4DC. The programme
aims to improve both general and academic English
Language ability, enhance study skills and cultural
understanding and introduce students to academic
study in English in the fields of computing and / or
business at a suitable level.
NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Business (QCF) (L3DB)
An introduction to business which equips students
with the necessary skills for entry to NCC Education's
L4DB. The L3DB provides students with a broad but
secure foundation in the fundamental concepts
of business, effective and practical IT skills and
the essential study skills necessary to succeed at
undergraduate level.
NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Computing (QCF) (L3DC)
An introduction to IT which provides students with
a broad but secure foundation in the fundamental
concepts of IT and an understanding of the essential
concepts of computer programming. The programme
allows progression to the NCC Education L4DC and
L4DBIT programmes.

Year 1 - NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (QCF) (L4DC)
A one-year, classroom-based academic programme,
which provides students with a comprehensive
understanding of IT, communication and
business skills, with much focus on software and
programming skills.
Career Progression
Graduates may begin work as a junior member of a
project support team, programmer or junior systems
analyst.
Year 2 - NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (QCF) (L5DC)
This one-year classroom-based academic programme
has been designed for students to analyse and gain a
deep understanding of effective business information
systems, analyse the architecture of database
systems and learn how to address the physical
design and database administration of complex
database systems in the real world.
Career Progression
Many of our students go on to careers in network
management, systems analysis, database design,
software development and IT services support.
Year 1 - NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business IT (QCF) (L4DBIT) A one-year, classroom-based academic programme, which provides students with a comprehensive understanding of IT, communication and business skills.

Year 3 - BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems delivered online by NCC Education, validated and awarded by the
University of Wales (BSc BCIS) (NQF Level 6) OR Year 3 - BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology awarded by the University of Greenwich (BSc BIT) (NQF Level 6)
Career Progression
Both degree programmes are designed to provide
management level entry to a range of IT related careers,
for example: systems design, database development,
business analysis, website development, business
development, project support.
Business International Degree Pathway
Year 1 - NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (QCF) (L4DB)
A one-year classroom based programme available
to students who wish to obtain an internationally
recognised business qualification that will set them
on a path to successfully seek employment in the
world of business.
Career Progression
Graduates may begin work as an assistant in various
sectors, including marketing, retail and human
resources.

A one-year classroom based programme designed
to equip students with the knowledge and skills
required to effectively progress their career.
