NCC Education

Institution Overview

Background

History
NCC Education is a global provider of British education and a recognised UK awarding body. The name hints at our prestigious origins as the educational arm of the National Computing Centre (NCC), a groundbreaking research organisation founded in 1966 by the British government. NCC Education gained a worldwide reputation for educational excellence, after becoming one of the first bodies to award IT qualifications. With calls for greater diversification, NCC Education became independent from NCC in 1997.

Company Profile
Today, NCC Education offers a portfolio of internationally-recognised business, IT and foundation level programmes to a global network of Accredited Partner Centres. With over 200 centres in over 45 countries, NCC Education is a well established leader in transnational education.

NCC Education offers UK-standard undergraduate and postgraduate British degree programmes and pathways taught via our Accredited Partner Centres. Computer Pioneers was introduced in 2001 offering children between the ages of 4 and 16 the opportunity to develop their computing skills and to become confident in the use of ICT.

NCC Education believes that higher education must be comprehensive, accessible and adapted to the needs of students. We pride ourselves on providing students with high level skills and excellent employment prospects. All programmes are also extremely flexible – they can be studied full or part time.

Mission

To be a global leader in the assessment and certification of recognised quality British education programmes in the major transnational education markets.

Student support is of the utmost importance to us and, alongside our Accredited Partner Centres, students are provided with valuable assistance and information in areas such as; registration, fees, examinations, awards and exemptions.

All registered students have access to our free online portal – Campus. Here students can find all the information needed to support their studies, including past papers, study guides and revision tips.
