Institution Overview

Introduction

Institute of Product Design and Manufacturing (previously known as Faculty of Product Design and Manufacturing) was established in 2002. Currently the Institute offers six degree courses leading to Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons). The programmes foster aesthetics, analytical and manufacturing skills necessary to effectively develop new products. Combining a sound manufacturing base with a carefully designed curriculum, the graduates are trained to visualize and develop innovative and creative designs and turn them into manufacturing reality and profitable products for the highly competitive environment and global market.
