Diploma in Advertising/ Marketing Communications
I chose to study at IACT because its teaching faculty consists of industry professionals and the teaching style is practical and hands-on. All students go through a three-month internship programme, which gives students a better insight into the working world and where we want to head in our future careers.The Diploma in Advertising/Marketing Communications is accredited by the International Advertising Association (IAA), New York. Upon completion of the Diploma, I only need one year of study overseas to obtain a degree from affiliated universities in Australia, New Zealand, UK or US. In addition, I have a choice of ten major options in my final-year degree studies.

I first heard of IACT through a college in America. At that time, I had no idea about Malaysia or about IACT. I conducted some research about colleges in Malaysia and decided that IACT suited me best. Firstly, the course fee is reasonable. Secondly, the course is practical and hands-on. I already have ten years of working experience in the advertising world. I was not interested in textbook learning anymore. I wanted to learn things that I could apply in the real working world. The IACT Diploma in Advertising/ Marketing Communications had all the features I wanted. IACT’s lecturers who are industry professionals, imparted their industry experiences to the students. We also had the opportunity to work on projects for real clients, which enabled us to put into practice the theories we have learnt.

A friend of mine recommended me to study at IACT. After almost one year here, I would say that it has given me a whole new experience. At IACT, theories are important, but they mean nothing if we do not know how to apply it in real life. Many of the projects/assignments given to us portray a clear picture of how the working life would be like. Overall, I feel that IACT prepares its students well for entry into the advertising and communication industry.

I was told that IACT College is affiliated to the International Advertising Association (IAA), New York and the syllabus is very much hands-on. After experiencing IACT College for myself, I absolutely agree because I gained better understanding of the industry, even before I started working!

I completed my Diploma at IACT College and pursued my degree in AUT, an affiliated university of the college. IACT College has a healthy mix of theory and real-life applications, which helped us to understand the subjects better and go through university with ease.
