Tuition fee waiver of up to 100% for eligible Malaysian students

Scholarship Overview

The TAR UMT Merit Scholarship is awarded to outstanding Malaysian students in the form of a tuition fee waiver of up to 100%.

Candidates who meet the scholarship criteria will be automatically offered the Merit Scholarship upon admission, subject to terms and conditions.

No separate application required.
Eligible students may receive the scholarship offer together with admission.

STPM criteria include A-. TAR UMT Diploma / Foundation applicants must have obtained straight passes in all courses, including co-curriculum courses for Diploma where applicable.

Important Notes

  • The Merit Scholarship is for full-time programmes.
  • Scholarship retention depends on meeting the required CGPA and passing all courses.
  • There will be no upward adjustment even if the scholar obtains a higher CGPA threshold later.
  • Terms and conditions apply. Students should confirm the latest scholarship criteria before applying.
