Organized by the School of Design, the activity indeed is the annual “Orientation project” that started from 29 Jan till 31 Jan with an impressive twist this year—using car boot as the booths which were not only rented to KBU students and staff but also the public.

During the ASEAN Summit in November 2007, the ASEAN Heads of Governments signed the historic ASEAN Charter. The adoption of the ASEAN Charter on its 40th Anniversary is a landmark achievement for ASEAN.
ASEAN strives to develop not only an ASEAN Economic Community but an ASEAN Social-Cultural Community and Political-Security Community. For ASEAN to move forward amidst global challenges there is a vital need for ASEAN to focus on Human Capital Development. Education is a key imperative for the continued progress, development and competitiveness of ASEAN.
The primary objective of the ASEAN Education Forum is to promote closer collaboration in Education, Human Capital Development and Training among both the Public and Private sectors in the ASEAN countries. The forum will also promote inter-change of views amongst Presidents/Rectors/Vice-Chancellors of key Universities in ASEAN as well as to discuss the critical challenges facing ASEAN, particularly on how to enhance its competitiveness through human resource development. At the same time, the forum will also update participants on opportunities for the private sector in education. An explosion of Culture and Colour fromo the International Student Community. "One Global Village" is the theme for this year's International Student Carnival, hosted by Sunway University College and jointly organised bt the Ministry of Higher Education. The 2-day evvent is a combined effort of over 36 public and private institutions of higher learning. About 2,500 international students from these institutions are participating in the three events that make up the carnival.

Today, 8th August 2008 is an auspicious day for SEGi. SEGi added yet another feather in its cap of achievements when it received the certificate of registration from the Ministry of Higher Education to be officially known as SEGi University College.

A 2-day education fair was held in Sabah Trade Centre on 14th and 15th June. The Fair, organised by Malaysian Expo and Management Sdn Bhd, MALEX, along with co-organiser StudyMalaysia, was the first and largest education fair held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
