The Education Ministry has visited the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom (UK) to meet the 45 Malaysian students training to teach English in secondary schools in Malaysia under the Teaching English as a Second Language course.
The new bachelor’s degree is being taught in collaboration with Malaysia’s Institut Perguruan Darulaman (IPDA), where students will study for three years at Portsmouth before returning to Malaysia to complete their final year.
