Your learning is not confined to the 4 walls of the classroom. All around the campus you will have access to wireless wi-fi hotspots so you can learn anywhere, anytime.

Specially designed for students use is the Webspace portal featuring a number of applications such as the Learnfinity Online Courseware Community for your course & study material, a Student Project Management System to manage your projects, systems to access to your Timetable, results, attendance and so on. Through all these portal applications, you will be able to communicate and collaborate as well as access your course materials, assessments and projects and other information.

Supporting you throughout your study at UCTI is state-of-the-art laboratories featuring the latest workstations and electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering equipment, plus an extensive array of software to support your learning. You will also have access to specially built discussion rooms to discuss and develop your business ideas.

Your Path to UCTI Degrees
Whether you join UCTI immediately after you secondary education or transfer to us from another institution of higher learning, we offer programmes at several levels and entry points, depending on your prior qualifications and experience. You have a flexibility of choice of programmes.

If you do not have the STPM / ‘A’ Levels, or other Pre-U qualifications, you may enter the Foundation Programme which prepares you for the first year (Level 1) of the degree programme.

With an STPM / ‘A’ Levels, you may enter directly into Year 1 (Level 1) of the Honours degree.

The UCTI Degree Programmes
The aims of all UCTI progammes are to develop your capabilities in relation to innovation, integration of ideas and concepts, interactive development, information provision & imaginative approaches to processes and problem solving, in addition to developing skills in problem solving, communication, team working & decision making.

The B.Sc. (Hons) degree programmes in Information Technology offer specialisations in Information Systems Security, Intelligent Systems, Network Computing, Forensic Computing. In addition, our B.Sc. (Hons) in Enterprise Computing provides skills to develop solutions that are well planned, designed and implemented that provide a suitable enterprise-wide information architecture in large enterprises.

If your career aspirations are in the area of Business, you should select from a range of B.A. (Hons) Business programmes develop your skills in communication, innovation, ingenuity and integration as well as problem-solving and decision-making in a business context. You may specialize in a variety of areas such as Business Management, International Business Management, Marketing, HRM, Accounting & Finance. A B.Sc. (Hons) in Technopreneurship is also available that provides study in areas such as innovation, business ideas generation, enterprising management – which will gear you towards becoming a technopreneur.

At UCTI, we offer B. Eng (Hons) Engineering Programmes in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering with Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering and Mechatronic Engineering. These are 4-year programmes so as to enable graduates to subsequently become professional engineers.

For those with interest in the popular and fast-growing Gaming and Web Multimedia technology, both the B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Games Development and the B.Sc. (Hons) in Web Media Technology are offered.

If you intend to move into career that includes the Web and Marketing, the Media degrees comprising of the B.A. (Hons) in Media Marketing and the B.Sc. (Hons) in Media Informatics will provide you a sound grasp of media knowledge and analysis and either marketing or multimedia issues which you can develop and apply in your future work environment.
