Study Malaysia Online is one of the most authoritative education websites in Malaysia. It was launched on 28th December 1998 by the then Minister of Education. The Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities (MAPCU) was established on 18 March, 1997. It stands as Malaysia's most prestigious grouping of private colleges and universities with membership from major and well-established instituions.

Established on 15 September 1987, NAPEI represents all levels of private educational institutions in Malaysia. NAPEI seeks to unite all private educational institutions regardless of size. With an initial registration of 26 members, NAPEI currently has a membership of 61 institutions.
