Course Description | This program aims to produce professionals with analytical thinking; who are able to work in groups and have the constant desire to compete internationally in the fields of finance and business. The courses will provide theoretical and practical understanding of finance and business, in which focus is given to theories related to financial systems and instruments, operations, corporate structure and control, funding sources, competitions, strategic management, and investment mechanism at national and international levels. In addition, this program will also equip students with an understanding on international financial institutions operations, international business agreements, and behaviour of corporations including transnational and multinationals corporations. |
Entry Requirements | The minimum requirements for entry into most undergraduate programmes are as follows: Good pass in the Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) with a credits in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia subject or a credits in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July Paper and a pass in Sejarah subject (for SPM 2013 and above) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) AND
A good pass in the Sijil Tinggi Peperiksaan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of:
OR A good pass in Sijil Matrikulasi KPM/Asasi Sains UM/ Asasi UiTM with a minimum
OR A recognised Diploma in relevant fields AND
Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
Good pass in the Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) with a credits in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia subject or a credits in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July Paper and a pass in Sejarah subject (for SPM 2013 and above) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

1. Entry requirements into professional courses such as Medicine and Engineering are generally much higher. In addition there are also specific requirements for entry into certain programmes. Further details can be obtained from the relevant faculties. 2. For foreign students, the general requirement is a good pass in A level, Matriculation, Higher School Certificates or other equivalent pre-university examinations. Malaysian Government Policy states that admission into certain degree programmes are restricted to local students only.
