On 1 May 2020, the government announced that business activities in most sectors of the economy will be allowed to operate from 4 May 2020 subject to the conditions and guidelines set by the authorities.
In line with this announcement, private higher education institutions (IPTS) are allowed to commence management operations from 4 May 2020 according to their organisational needs. However, all IPTS need to be responsible for the implementation of their management operations. These include providing an internal guideline as a control measure to curb the transmission of COVID-19 before the institutions begin operations. Where possible, the institutions should consider flexible working hours and encourage its employees to work from home.
It is important to note that face-to-face teaching and learning activities are not allowed in order to avoid any form of gathering.
