About the Institution

The Raffles University was formally approved by Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) on 31st October 2011. Raffles University will be a first of its kind, Asian-based Malaysian university that prides itself as a practice-oriented university with intensive curricula and practical hands-on experiences that give students maximum preparation for future careers.

Raffles University is the University of the Future. We are at the cutting edge of higher education in both teaching and learning and business practices. Our innovative and stimulating programmes promote – Doing while Learning and Learning while Doing that includes

Furthermore, Raffles University continues to strive for excellence in delivering high-quality education and providing an enriching learning experience for our students. In order to assure the quality of the education at Raffles University, we always fulfil the requirement of the authorised body to achieve accreditation and recognition of the programmes.

Raffles University offers programmes in Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree (Honours), Masters and Doctorate qualification. The five faculties that we have set up are:

Achievements

• Raffles University is ranked as the Top Creative School in Malaysia in Ed Ranks 2022
• The programme Director of Arts & Design is being ranked as Top 1 of the creative lecturer in Malaysia Ed Ranks 2022
• Raffles University is the only Malaysian University that was invited to London Fashion Show 2019
• Raffles Interior Designer –YEOH Wei Ling, from Diploma in Interior Design for being selected as Daikin Youth Design Competition 2022 Top 10 Finalist. 
• AU Jie Min (Jasmine) (Bachelor of Fashion Design (Honours) for winning IRON A’Design Award in Fashion, Apparent and Garment Design Category 2021 – 2022 with her mini-collection – “Are We?”.
• Raffles University’s Cross Discipline team – LULU for winning the Best Pitching Award in International Business Idea Challenge (IBIC) 2020!
