PKIBM (The National Association Of Bumiputera Private Higher Education Institutions Malaysia)
by StudyMalaysia.com on July 13, 2015 | Associations of Educational Institutions
PKIBM comprises Bumiputera member institutions located throughout Malaysia which offer tertiary education programmes at matriculation/foundation, diploma, bachelor and master levels. Many programmes are offered in collaboration with established universities, both local and foreign, who either award or accredit the respective qualifications earned.
Besides representing and promoting the common interests of member institutions, PKIBM's main purpose is to expand educational opportunities of all member institutions to all students, local and foreign.
PKIBM encourages the welcoming of non-bumiputera students to their institutions and promotes equal opportunities for all. PKIBM member institutions practise a non-discriminatory enrolment policy and accept all eligible students irrespective of their race or religion. A number of these institutions have gained approval to enrol foreign students for their programmes.
