MQA CEO congratulates UCSI award

KUALA LUMPUR: The CEO of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) encouraged more than 900 UCSI award recipients to have vision and foresight when it comes to their education.

Prof Dato’ Dr Rujhan Mustafa shared his insights during UCSI University’s (UCSI) annual Award & Scholarship Presentation Ceremony, which he attended as the guest of honour.

“Success is not permanent — it must be earned again and again. Come tomorrow, you will be treated and judged based on what you do then. Do not dwell on short-term glory but plan for long term brilliance,” he said.

926 students received various awards, scholarships and bursaries amounting to more than RM18 million during the ceremony.

Held within the multipurpose hall of the University, the event recognised high-achieving students in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. Nearly 1,000 people attended the event, including parents and guardians of the award recipients.
