1,500 Indians admitted to pre-U courses
May 3, 2013 | National NewsPETALING JAYA: A total of 1,500 Indian students have been admitted into the 2013/2014 matriculation session, said the Education Ministry.
It said it received 6,100 applications from Indian students out of a total of 111,752 applications, adding that the application for admission into matriculation was open from June 1 to Oct 10, 2012 and was further extended until Nov 30 last year.
“The students' admission is based on merit with academic scores accounting for 90% and extra-curricular activities making up the 10%”, it said in a statement.
