Under the deal, UCSI – the exclusive regional license holder for Blue Ocean businesses in 10 countries – has granted ECSI with an exclusive license to conduct Blue Ocean consulting services in the island republic.
ECSI will be UCSI’s delivery partner in Singapore and both companies will collaborate in terms of projects and resources.

Hailing the move, UCSI senior director of strategy and innovation Raj Kumar said that the development was a win-win partnership.
“This collaboration is part of our strategy to expand our regional presence through smart partnerships,” he said. “We will work closely with ECSI to develop cutting-edge strategy and innovation practices.”

A strategy consultancy founded by the European Centre for Strategic Innovation, ECSI is headed by Luciano Pezzotta – a certified Blue Ocean practitioner who served as UCSI’s regional lead consultant from 2008 to 2012.
“We are glad to strengthen our partnership with the UCSI,” said Pezzotta.
“Blue Ocean is widely regarded as one of the most effective management ideas in today’s market environment and being its exclusive representatives in Singapore is a key component of our regional growth strategy.”
