RM152,000 boost for fund
August 26, 2014 | National NewsKUALA LUMPUR: Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), through its UiTM-PNB alumni, has contributed RM152,000 to the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) 1Billion Education Fund.
PNB president and group chief executive Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman said more than 350 members of PNB’s 1,233 staff were UiTM alumni.
“This is one of our strengths as many of our top management come from UiTM,” he said at the cheque presentation ceremony here yesterday.
The UiTM 1Billion Education Fund aims to develop and help the bumiputra community grow through the building of more universities as well as providing scholarships.
