As such, the College offers an array of scholarships for the needy yet outstanding students.

Merit Scholarship 2015

Under the specifically designed Merit Scholarship, SPM students who have excelled in SPM with 9A+ and above are entitled to enjoy up to 100% tuition fee waiver. Partial scholarships are also available for those with 8As and below.

Bursary Awards

The College also offers bursary awards to its current students who have excelled in their studies. Diploma and degree students with a CGPA of 3.75 and above can enjoy 100% tuition fee waiver. Students with a CGPA of 3.50 and 3.00 can get up to 50% and 25% tuition fee waiver respectively.

Student Leaders & Top Office Bearers Scholarships 2015

The Student Leaders and Top Office Bearers scholarships are designed for students who are active in uniformed bodies such as Scout, Girl Guide, St John Ambulance, Boys; Brigade and Police Cadet. Under the scholarship scheme, students are entitled a designated amount of tuition fee waiver per academic year, depending on their position or rank. There are also tuition fee waivers for School Prefectorial Board members and librarians.

Sports Scholarships

Under the Sport Scholarship, students who have represented the country are entitled to enjoy 100% tuition fee waiver for Foundation, Pre-University and Diploma programmes while state level players will be awarded with a designated amount of tuition fee waiver per academic year. Some of the sports which are qualified for this award would be: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Bowling, Football, Hockey, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Netball and Rugby.

KBU Founder’s Scholarship

On top of that, KBU also offers a new scholarship, KBU Founder’s scholarship to honour KBU’s founder, the late Tan Sri Teo Soo Cheng. Under the scheme, SM3 students who excelled in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) examinations will have their tuition fees waived from a range of 25% to 100%. This scholarship is open to any diploma and degree programmes at KBU.

Other Scholarships/ Financial Assistance Available

KBU International College offers scholarships such as Selected School Principal Scholarship and Sibling Scholarship to ease students' financial burden.
