Look good with a degree in hair styling and make-up

KUALA LUMPUR: Doing hair and make-up for a living may not sound glamorous but what if it pays well and gets you a degree?

Kojadi Institute recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Transworld University in Taiwan allowing the institute’s students to graduate with a degree in hairdressing and cosmetology.

“Even if you don’t have an SPM certificate, you can still graduate with a degree,” said MCA Youth chief Chong Sin Woon.

With a track record of 100% employability, Chong said Kojadi Institute graduates were highly sought after by companies paying a decent salary of RM2,000 or more.

He said the institute’s objective was to train more skilled workers and provide them with job opportunities when they graduate.

“This does not mean we only target dropouts, but we want to find more ways for people to obtain skills.
