The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and HELP University (HELP) are delighted to announce that they are collaborating to offer CISI professional qualifications in investment analysis and wealth management to the securities and investment market in Malaysia.

Both organisations have signed an MoU which was witnessed by Alderman Alan Yarrow, Lord Mayor of the City of London, during his recent trip to Asia. While in Malaysia, he made a special visit to HELP University to withess the signing in his capacity as Chairman of the CISI.

HELP is the first university in Malaysia to enter into a collaboration with CISI to provide a highly desirable career pathway for professionals to enter the rapidly expanding financial, investment and securities industries of the Asia region currently experiencing unprecedented growth.

CISI is the professional body which sets examinations and offers qualifications for those working, or looking to establish a career, in the wealth management and capital markets industries. CISI has over 100 Corporate Supporters and is delighted that two of them, HSBC and Maybank, were among a number of leading banking and financial institutions which attended the signing ceremony.

CISI has 40,000 members worldwide and has been working in Asia Pacific for 10 years, with its regional office in Singapore. CISI is active in many jurisdictions in the region including Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. In these countries CISI works closely with local regulators, corporate clients and members.
With this collaboration, successful HELP University graduates from the CISI courses will increase the worldwide CISI alumni pool and enhance the status of CISI qualifications for global recognition and career mobility. CISI for their part entered into the partnership with HELP because of HELP’s track record as a top business school delivering high quality courses.

HELP University will be offering training courses for the following CISI qualifications – part of an exciting HELP-CISI collaboration to nurture human resource for the future:
