Temporary Closure of TAR UC from 18-31 March 2020

March 17, 2020 | Campus News

Following from Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s 16 March 2020 announcement on movement control order to contain the Covid-19 outbreak, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (‘TAR UC’) will be temporarily closed from 18 - 31 March 2020 at all of its campuses in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Perak, Johor, Pahang and Sabah. Our Open Day, originally scheduled from 5 - 29 March 2020, will also be suspended.

However, prospective students and parents who have specific enquiries on application and intakes can still reach us via email or mobile and the list of contact details is as per attached herewith. Alternatively, the contact details are also uploaded on TAR UC official website at www.tarc.edu.my. Prospective students are also advised to send in applications online at www.tarc.edu.my. Students who apply online from 16 - 31 March 2020 will also receive the waiver of RM60 processing fee for all programmes.

In addition, TAR UC has replaced physical classes at all of its campuses from 16 - 31 March 2020 with non-face-to-face online learning during the said period. As such, TAR UC students are advised to remain at home to reduce the risk of being exposed to Covid-19 while ensuring the continuity of teaching and learning.

The management of TAR UC will continue to monitor the situation closely and take all the necessary precautionary measures to safeguard the health and safety of the community in TAR UC. Further updates will be announced on TAR UC website, Facebook and Instagram from time to time.
