TAR UC Thanks Government for Restoring Funding

Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (‘TAR UC’) would like to put on record its appreciation and gratitude for the Government for restoring the funding to the University College as announced on 27 May 2020.

It was announced on 27 May 2020 by Datuk Seri Ir Dr Wee Ka Siong, Minister of Transport who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of TARC Education Foundation, that the Ministry of Finance had agreed to restore the allocation to TAR UC which had been instituted since 1969 until 2018 and the latest allocation comes to a total of RM58 million.

Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UC, is grateful for the funding which will enable TAR UC to continue providing quality and affordable education.

“This is certainly a very good news to us as it gives TAR UC the impetus to continue our mission in making quality education more accessible to all Malaysians”, Prof Ir Dr Lee said.
