Together, Victory Will Be Ours!

The ‘Tugu Negara’ is hardly an unfamiliar monument to Malaysians. This monument stands as a symbol of our nation’s fight and victory in attaining independence. The five bronze figures in the national monument represent leadership, suffering, unity, vigilance, strength, courage and sacrifice, values which made a huge impact years ago and will make a world of difference in the war we are all fighting today.

In light of the recent Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia, The One Academy has taken inspiration from this iconic monument and designed a Merdeka Day greeting based on it to show our appreciation to the frontliners and all those working together to fight the virus. We truly believe that in the end, victory will be ours.

We strongly urge the nation to work together and fight this ongoing epidemic battle. We must all strictly follow the SOP 100%, practice excellent personal hygiene and always be mindful of social distancing. Additionally, we must not forget the frontliners’ sacrifices and salute their courage and unity in this situation. In time, we will see all the sacrifices paying off in a triumph against Covid-19.

This creative work was designed to motivate and encourage everyone as well as lift their spirits and urge them to continue fighting in this war against the virus. We have a history of being victorious before, and we will do yet again!

We humbly urge everyone to share this message to others across different channels to reach even more people and spur them on during these trying times.
