SACE International (SACEi) is an internationally-recognised senior school education program that prepares students to thrive at university and life.

Made for the individual, the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a world-leading Australian qualification that gives students the courage and freedom to be independent thinkers and learners.

The program is the official senior secondary qualification of the South Australian Government, and is taught in more than 30 schools in Malaysia, China, Vietnam, and the South Pacific.

SACEi graduates receive a direct pathway to Australian universities and qualify for entry into universities around the world with the globally-recognised Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

Since it was established in 1982, more than 40,000 SACEi students have graduated from the program. 

With more than 60 subjects to choose from, the innovative and contemporary student-centric curriculum provides opportunities for each individual to discover who they are and how they work best.

With a flexible, tailored approach, the curriculum shifts the focus from students showing what they know in exams to showing what they can do with what they know in a variety of ways.

Rather than sitting one big exam, students undertake 70% school-based assessment, with exams worth 30%.

With the SACE, students learn how to learn. It’s a mindset and skill carried through life that empowers the individual to better understand themselves and the world. Students learn to reason, justify and defend ideas and positions through considered argument.

SACEi graduates gain high ATAR results and have greater success at university, achieving higher than average GPAs at university.
