STPM 2023 Exam Results
The just-released STPM 2023/2024 results (23 July 2024) sees the highest-ever national CGPA for STPM. A total of 41,158 candidates sat for all three STPM 2023 semesters. The CGPA for the STPM 2023/2024 has improved by 0.02 from 2022 to 2.84. According to Malaysian Examinations Council chairman Datuk Dr Mohd Ekhwan Toriman, this is the highest CGPA since the STPM was introduced.
- Student Scores:
- A total of 1,116 students (2.7%) scored a perfect 4.00 CGPA.
- Of these, 803 (71.95%) are from B40 families.
- Additionally, 44.82% of students scored a CGPA of 3.00.
- Forty-one candidates scored 5A's, and 1,087 scored 4A's.
- Public University Entry Requirements:
- The minimum entry requirement to public universities is three subjects (including Pengajian Am) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
