Kuok Foundation Study Awards 2026 – Malaysian Private Universities

Award Value
Up to RM50,000 per year, depending on the course undertaken.
Study Level
Full-time First Degree / Bachelor’s Degree
Diploma, foundation, matriculation and other pre-degree programmes are not eligible.
Study Destination
Malaysia only
The degree must be undertaken and completed in Malaysia.
Eligible Institutions
Applicants must be:
- Awaiting admission to a selected Malaysian private university; or
- Currently pursuing a full-time first degree at one of the selected private institutions listed on the Kuok Foundation website.
The announcement does not provide the full list of participating institutions, so applicants should check the foundation’s website.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Malaysian citizens.
- Be financially needy.
- Have good academic achievements.
- Have good co-curricular records.
- Demonstrate good communication skills.
- Be applying for or studying a full-time first degree.
- Undertake and complete the degree in Malaysia.
- Enrol in a programme accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, or MQA.
- Study at one of the private institutions selected by Kuok Foundation.
Not Eligible
Students enrolled in the following are not eligible:
- Diploma programmes
- Foundation programmes
- Matriculation programmes
- Off-campus programmes
- Twinning programmes
Application Period
Online application opens: 16 July 2026
Online application closes: 7 August 2026

Printed application closing date: 14 August 2026
Application Process
Step 1: Submit the Online Application
Complete and submit the online application form at:
apply.kuokfoundation.org
The online application must be submitted by 7 August 2026.
Step 2: Submit the Printed Application
After submitting the online application, applicants must also send:
- A printed copy of the completed application form
- All required supporting documents
The printed application and supporting documents must reach Kuok Foundation by 14 August 2026.
Applicants must complete both application steps. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Selection Process
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview.
Accreditation Requirement
The chosen course must be accredited by MQA. Applicants may verify programme accreditation through the Malaysian Qualifications Register:
