We are looking to sponsor students intending to pursue their undergraduate or Master’s degrees:

Country Institution Field of Studies
UK, US, or Australia
  • Any universities ranked in the top 20% for the study subject, as published by:
  • Times Higher Education; or
  • The Complete University Guide; or
  • US News and World Report; or
  • Financial Times; or
  • Other recognised global university rankings.
  • Art and Design
  • Business and Finance
  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Science and Engineering (not including Medicine)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Malaysian Bumiputera
  • Must possess strong academic, extracurricular, and personal achievements
  • Have gained at least conditional admission to relevant institution
  • Fulfill other required personal traits and selection criteria

Award Value:
The scholarship covers full tuition and living expenses as determined by the institution.

How to Apply:

Apply Now – Undergraduate

Application Requirements

  1. Must meet eligibility criteria
    • Malaysian Bumiputera;
    • Must possess strong academic, extracurricular, and personal achievements;
    • Have gained at least conditional admission to relevant institution;
    • Fulfil other required personal traits and selection criteria.
  2. Please complete ALL sections of the application form, including the minimum 200-word essay and signing the acknowledgement page by 30 APRIL 2023.
  3. Please upload ALL documents as required.
  4. Please ensure that correct spelling, grammar, proper use of punctuation and capitalization are applied prior to application submission. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

Documents Required

  • Scanned copy of Passport Photo (please refer to guideline)
  • Scanned copy of NRIC*
  • Scanned copy of Birth Certificate*
  • Scanned copy of offer letter from institution
  • Scanned copy of academic transcript (Pre-University, or Diploma programme)*
  • Scanned copy of examination results slips (SPM/ other related examinations)*

*Successfully shortlisted candidates will be notified and required to submit the verified version to YDD prior to the Panel Interview. Verification are to be done by any of the certifying officers e.g. employer/ school principal/ official head of village/ government officers (Grade 41 & above)/ justice of peace/ lawyers/ notary public/ commissioner of oaths/ court/ company secretary.

Notification of shortlisted candidates

Only successfully shortlisted candidates will be notified via email or phone within four weeks after the closing date of the application.
