Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) was founded in line with the Malaysian government's aspiration to further improve the healthcare of Malaysians through state-of-the-art educational technology and training in medical sciences. In line with he university establishment, the Foundation in Science (FIS) programme was specially designed as a pre-medicine programme for students to pursue first degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental Surgery, Biomedical Engineering Technology, Biotechnology, or Homeopathic Medical Science at CUCMS. With this in mind, relevant curriculum have been designed and implemented, all with the strong support from CUCMS faculties who will eventually welcome these graduates to their undergrad programmes.

The Foundation in Science programme was granted a full accreditation by malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) in 2007 and as a result, besides being accepted for a direct admission to faculties in CUCMS, a number of our products have also successfully gained admission to other local or international institution.

The FIS programme has accepted and trained students who came from various education backgrounds, including sponsored students from private and government agencies such as MARA and JPA.

Our vision is to be a world class pre-medical training programme, highly able to produce quality graduates in line with requirements of other medical science school of international repute. The Foundation programme is geared towards transforming a new approach to learning, where talent, creativity and innovativeness are blended for students' greater cognitive development and success.
