Course Overview

This program is designed for students with a promising career as an occupational safety and health officer (SHO) in Malaysia. It also provides a sound basis for students to become highly qualified safety and health practitioners for all industries as listed in OSHA 1994. Our OSH core subjects are designed to prevent workplace injury, illness and fatality in the workplace.

The objectives of this programme are to produce graduates who are:

 

  • Knowledgeable in occupational safety and health field
  • Proficient in inspecting place of work
  • Able to advise the employer on the measures to be taken in the interests of safety and health of the persons employed in the workplace.
  • Able to implementing and organising OSH programme at workplace.

     

    This industry-based focus is transferred to the programs, and students are guaranteed a program of study that is relevant to their needs.
