Course Overview

Department of Physics offer the Bachelor of Science in Physics (Honours) program. This program will provide students with the skills to pursue a wide variety of careers, and many students find the subject so fascinating that they go on to pursue Masters or PhD degrees. The program are designed to provide students ~in addition to the fundamentals of physics~ a broad range of skills in laboratory techniques, critical thinking, computer use, and teamwork, which will serve students well in your chosen career.

Bachelor of Physics program also provides ourstanding teaching combined with many opportinities to students to activaly invlove in the cutting-edge research that is going on in our research groups.

Students have the possibility to enroll in a number of specialized courses provides in the concentrations and to actively participate in the cutting-edge research carried through at the department.

Entry Requirements

A pass at the GCE level with credits in
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Physics
Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the government of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the University.

Pass in the English Placement Test (EPT) conducted by IIUM or has evidence of IELTS or TOEFL qualification:

Other admission requirement:
