Course Overview

Psychology Degree

Contrary to popular belief, a psychologist doesn’t only work with ‘crazy’ people. Psychologists work in the diverse fields of business, sports, education and health where the emphasis is not on ‘fixing’ something wrong, but instead, enhancing what is right by incorporating evidence-based techniques and interventions to assist individuals reach their true potential.

The IMU Psychology Degree emphasizes learning in small groups for all students to actively engage and learn from the lecturers as well as from one another. Going beyond the scientific theories, students are challenged on the intricacies of actual practice by delving deeper into a topic. It is a process that adds art to the science of psychology.

Our graduates are in great demand with all of them gaining employment within 3 months after graduation, with many securing jobs before they even complete their internship – a testament to the quality of the teaching and learning in the IMU BSc (Hons) Psychology programme.
