Course Overview

The programme provides a strong fundamental in planning, designing, managing and implementing aspects of landscape, both in the man-made and natural outdoor environment. These environments are established through the application of softscape and hardscape elements to create a quality, balanced and conducive environment for the needs of human. The programme integrates subjects that equip students the requisite practical skills, knowledge and creativity so that they are competent in developing a sustainable environment, and possibly transforming a space to a place. Aspect of social, culture, aesthetics and physical contexts are integrated in the landscpae architecture programme. As such, the programme prepares graduates to work and contribute pro-actively within a broad range of professional practice in the building construction realm.

Entry Requirements

SPM Minimum  3 credit
O-Level Minimum 3 credit
UEC Minimum 3Bs
Certificate/SKM III Minimum CGPA of 2.00 with a C in SPM
SAM/HSC/AUSMAT TER/UAI: Average of 50% or higher in 5 subjects (including Drawing and English)
CPU/CIMP Average of 50% or higher in 6 subjects (includingDrawing and English)
Other Qualifications Other equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government
Additional Qualifications -- Pass drawing subject in SPM or equivalent OR
-- Pass interview and portfolio test for student who failed or have not taken the Drawing subject during SPM/ or without Art Education subject
