Course Description
Desire to be a renowned musician one day?
 
Music students will have the opportunity to express creative skills and talents in voice, composition and various musical instruments.
 
This course provides students the exposure in both Western classical and Eastern aspects of music as well as an in-depth understanding of theory and principles of music. The curriculum also covers the study of Computer Music and Music Business. The study and appreciation of ethnic music also forms part of the curriculum. The incorporation of local cultural contents in music composition and a higher level of musical craft performances are encouraged.

Entry Requirements

SPM with minimum 3 credits in any subjects and passes in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah; or

UEC with minimum 3 Grade B in any subjects; or

O-Level with minimum 3 Grade C in any subjects; or

Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian government; AND

Grade 5 in practical and theory for piano (A.B.R.S.M. certificate or equivalent); or

Grade 4 in practical and theory for other musical instruments (A.B.R.S.M. certificate or equivalent); or

Pass audition arranged by MIA.
