Bachelor in Graphic Design (Hons) focuses on the structure of visual information to aid communication and orientation. This programme prepares graduates with comprehensive knowledge of history, process, and principles of design, along with theories of visual perception, in originating and producing materials for employers and clients.

Having knowledge of the graphic design process, as well as fundamental design skills, enables graduates to develop, suggest, and implement solutions that are effective. The depth and breadth of instruction in design and technology and business orientation enable graduates to function more creatively and independently in the work place.

(i) STPM Candidate :

(a) Pass SPM or its equivalent with credit in Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Melayu (Silibus X) Bahasa Malaysia II

and

(b) Pass STPM or its equivalent, with minimum Grade C in 3 subjects including Pengajian Am/Kertas Am (General Studies/General Paper) or at least 2.00 CGPA;

or

(c) A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with minimum Grade C in 2 subjects including Pengajian Am/Kertas Am (General Studies/General Paper) and Grade D for 2 other subjects;

(ii) Ministry of Education (KPM) Matriculation Certificate or MSU Foundation Certificate, or Foundation Certificate or its equivalent from higher learning institution:

• in Malaysia which is recognised by KPT and approved by MQA
• overseas which is equivalent to KPT Matriculation Programme

OR

(iii) Diploma from PTPL/MSU, or Certificate/Diploma from Polytechnic, IPTA or IPTS with accreditation or other qualification from higher learning institution recognised by Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) and accreditated by MQA;

OR

(iv) Pass at least 3 subjects in A-Level;

OR

(v) Pass The South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with minimum score of 65% - 70%;

OR

(vi) Pass Canadian Pre University Programme (CPU) with minimum score of 80%;

OR

(vii) Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in 5 subjects;

OR

(viii) other equivalent qualification recognised by Malaysian Government
