Course Description

Foundation in Law programme is developed as a pre-degree programme for students to enter into a range of Bachelor programmes. This programme aims to meet increasing needs for experts in the legal profession and legislative areas. Exposure to the Malaysian Law and Legal Systems, Sociology, Criminal and Constitutional Law, Political Science and English will prepare students with the solid foundations and skills crucial for a successful pursuit in legal related careers.

Entry Requirements

(i) Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu, English Language and three (3) other subjects;

OR

(ii) Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government

Career Prospects

Students may consider upgrading their knowledge and skills by articulating into a range of relevant degree programmes offered at MSU or at foreign universities under the International Students Exchange Programme (ISEP) in UK, USA and Australia. 

Students may choose to pursue their degree in Law and Commerce, Psychology with Marketing, Human Capital Management, Education or any other relevant degree programmes.
