| Course Description | The Foundation in Business (FIB) programme provides students with a broad understanding of business organisations and their structures. It also delves into wider considerations such as business environments, markets, processes and how they work together to contribute to organisational success. The foundation programme will allow students to analyse how strategies are developed, decisions are taken, and how these factors impact competitiveness in business and commerce. | ||||||||
| Curriculum | The following courses are offered in the Foundation in Business (JPT/BPP(A9505)02/19) programme:
Assessment: Students’ ability is gauged through continuous assessments and a final semester examination. The continuous assessment component comprises of tests / quizzes and projects / assignments, which accounts for an allocation of about 40-50 marks depending on the course. The balance of the marks is allocated for the final examination. | ||||||||
