Course Description | A World-Class Transfer Degree
Since its inception in 1996, Taylor’s American Degree Transfer Program (ADP) has prepared thousands of students for transfer to universities in the U.S. as well as to Canada and Australia. As a result of the foundation that we instil at Taylor’s, we are proud to say that almost all our students have successfully transitioned into the Western education system and lifestyle. The American education system is globally recognized for its holistic approach and broad exposure to a wide range of courses. During the two years at Taylor’s ADP, students are exposed to the same education system practiced in U.S. universities. The courses are structured in a similar manner with similar modes of assessment, delivery methods, and teaching approaches. Taylor’s ADP has continued to be a popular choice among students and parents for various reasons, including its small classrooms, intensive student-lecturer interactions, broad range of courses, and numerous extra-curricular activities. Most of all, what truly sets Taylor’s ADP apart from other programs is the interactive nature of the American-style curriculum, which prepares students well for the stringent education standards of some of the best universities in the world. |
Curriculum | Social scientists study all aspects of society including human behavior, relationships among different groups of people, past events and achievements. They set out to understand and explain why humans make certain decisions, how and why we exercise power and our responses to change. A liberal arts major offers a broad overview of the arts, sciences, and humanities. Within the context of a liberal arts degree, you can study modern languages, music, English, anthropology, history, gender studies, or many other disciplines. Here are the common majors students pursue in the study of social science/ liberal arts and their descriptions.
